At DONDIDENT, we work continuously to ensure universal access to our website, aiming to allow everyone, regardless of age, disability, or any other personal circumstances, to navigate through the pages of our domain without encountering access difficulties.

The criteria adopted to achieve greater accessibility of the DONDIDENT website are based on the WCAG/WAI guidelines set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the international organization responsible for overseeing technologies and adopting internet standards. In this regard, the development of the DONDIDENT website has been based on complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 from W3C-WAI at their AA level of requirement. Everycode, S.L. has carried out an accessibility audit according to the WCAG 2.1 requirements at the AA level.

Current Situation
The site has been certified with the inSuit AA Certification according to the WCAG 2.1 requirements at the AA level.

Some of the functionalities implemented on the website to allow greater accessibility to its content include:

  • The visual features of the portal (font type, font and background colours, etc.) are defined through the style sheet so that users can adjust the text to their preferences.

  • Font sizes have been defined with relative units, allowing users to increase or decrease font size using browser options.

  • If a user accesses the page with a browser that does not support stylesheets, there will be no difficulty, as all content can still be accessed with CSS disabled.

  • The pages have a clear structure for both users who can see all the content and those who read information with a screen reader, users who disable stylesheets, etc. For this purpose, section headings, lists, and all elements that aid the general understanding of the website have been defined through HTML code.

  • The HTML and CSS code used adheres to formal grammars to ensure proper display of content across different browsers.
